OK, we’re getting down to brass tacks here

I just want to give a plug out, one of my favorite Flash Fiction writers, Matt Bell is going to be attending, check out his blog or if you like I reviewed his lovely chapbook here.

Anyway, I’m trying to get into this ‘community of writers’ thing. Matt is the first person I ‘know’ that I know is going out.

My question is, do you folks have someone you’d like to see?

Oh and if anyone has a flash fiction chapbook out there you want reviewed, I can do that…

Just found this site via Twitter, and I was just thinking to myself that someone should be blogging/tweeting AWP. Thank you for making the PDF of the schedule. I look forward to more posts!

Brian Evenson, definitely. I always look forward to him. There’s quite a few small-press, what some would call “alternative” names giving panels this year, which is different than years past. Blake Butler (though he is with Harper Collins now), Henry Baum, Justin Taylor and Kevin Sampsell (though I think they are both with HP, now, too), M. Scott Douglas (of Main Street Rag), and of course, Matt Bell, all have close ties to the “outsider” lit scene. I’m looking forward to picking all of their heads.

Thank you, kindly. I hope we become a great resource for everyone attending AWP. Spread the word!
